

Tanager Place is a private non-profit organization, which provides services to children and families challenged by social and psychological needs. The goal of all programs at Tanager Place is to assure the development and fulfillment of each child's potential.
Tanager Place main campus is located in southwest Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
This 24-acre campus includes:
Six residential cottages serving 68 children

Tanager Place offers community based programs to children and families across the state of Iowa. Currently we serve over 400 children and families a day in a five county radius.
Tanager Place is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services and licensed by the Iowa Department of Human Services.
