Welcome to Tanager Place!  We hope that this site gives you a good overview of the programs, services, and opportunities available here at Tanager.

Our organization was founded in 1879 by a group of volunteers in Cedar Rapids who were concerned with the well-being of children in their community.  Our continued success is grounded in that spirit of volunteerism and responsiveness to the community.

Today we offer a full continuum of services to children and families in need.
