Youth Service Worker

Status: Part Time
Hours: Must be flexible with scheduling including weekends and holidays. Second and third shifts available.
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Requires: 1. Three years work experience post high school diploma or equivalent, related field preferred, or 2. AA degree or two years or more of undergraduate work from an accredited cllege or university, or 3. a combination of consecutive work experience and/or undergraduate work from an accredited college or university, related field preferred. Must be able to certify and maintain required trainings of position. Valid drivers license with good driving record. Ability to pass required background checks. Requires the ability to care for and work with emotionally disturbed and delinquent adolescents/children. Ability to work independently and with various team members, must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and serve as a positive role model.
Responsibilities: Will work as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team with children/adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting. This position will provide situational/crisis intervention, direct care, client supervision, various housekeeping functions as required and as per policy. Other responsibilities will include various paperwork and documentation and assisting clients with daily routines and age appropriate living skills. Third shift staff will also complete required bed checks, assist clients with morning routines, and the ability to remain awake and alert.

IT Assistant

Status: Part Time
Hours: Tanager Place is seeking to fill a part-time summer position to assist in its Information Technology department. The position will be 25-30 hours per week
Requirements: Applicants should have at least two years applicable training and/or experience.
Responsibilities: Duties will include: • Load and set up computers for initial deployment to end users • Assist in the maintenance of user accounts • Update agency inventory of all computer hardware on campus • Provide technical assistance to end users on application programs • Troubleshoot issues and problems with computer hardware and printers • Provide other support as capability allows.
