Dr. Frank Babcock, M.D.

Dr. Babcock joined the clinic as Child Psychiatrist in 2007.  He provides outpatient and inpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children and adolescents.  Dr. Babcock received his BA from Northwestern University, his MS from University of California Davis and completed his medical training at the University of California Davis School of Medicine.  He completed his Adult Psychiatry Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and is board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Lindsey Andrew, Psy.D.

Dr. Lindsay Andrew earned her BS in Psychology from the University of Iowa and her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Indiana State University.  She enjoys working with all ages of clients.  Her primary focus is conducting individual, family, group and marital therapy in acute psychiatric residential and outpatient settings. In addition to outpatient therapy, she offers psychological testing, assessments and evaluations.

Joy Ashbaugh, LMHC

Joy graduated from Central College. She received her MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco. She has a special interest in the treatment of depression and anxiety disorders, parenting issues, child abuse, sexual abuse and trauma.

Angela Cantrell, LISW

Angela graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa with a BA in Psychology and minors in both Sociology and Spanish. She received her MSW from the University of Iowa. Angela’s focus is treating children suffering from grief, child abuse, sexual abuse and trauma.

Amber Cook, MT-BC

Amber received her Bachelor of Music Education and a Major in Music Therapy from Wartburg College.  Amber has extensive experience working with children as both a teacher and as a board certified music therapist.

Sue Cyr, LMFT

Sue received her BA in psychology from the University of Maine and her Masters of Family Therapy from Southern Connecticut State University.  Her expertise is family systems and dynamics and crisis intervention.

Brianne Guinn, LMSW

Brianne graduated from the University of Iowa.  She received her MSW from St. Ambrose University.  Brianne’s focus is treating children and adolescents suffering from grief and loss as well as individuals struggling with anxiety related illnesses.

Cyndi Hemesath, LISW

Cyndi received her BA from the University of Iowa and her MSW from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. Cyndi focuses on treating individuals suffering from anxiety, mood disorders, abuse and trauma />

Stacie Mitchell, LMHC, RPT-S, CCDP-D, CADC

Stacie received her BS in Health Promotion with specialization in Health Behavior and her MA in Counselor Education with specialization in Substance Abuse and Mental Health Counseling from the University of Iowa.  She is a certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor. Stacie primarily works with young children and adolescents and her areas of expertise include play therapy, addiction, child abuse, sexual assault, and behavior disorder.

Courtney Powers, MS

Courtney received her Master’s in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from California State University in 2007.  Courtney has had extensive experience in the field of mental health and education.  She has facilitated both individual and group therapy to severely emotionally disturbed children.  Courtney has specialized in the development and implementation of treatment programs for children diagnosed with autism.  Courtney has worked in a variety of settings including autism centers, clinics and schools. 


Lanny Tygrett, LMSW

Lanny graduated from the University of Iowa in 2004 with her BA in Psychology.  Upon graduation, she worked as a Treatment Counselor in the PMIC program at Tanager Place.  In 2008, she received her MSW from St. Ambrose University.  Lanny’s experience includes residential & outpatient mental health, teen parents and substance abuse.

Melissa Wehr, LISW, RPT

Melissa attended Truman State University and the University of Iowa, receiving a BA in Psychology and MSW.  She is a Licensed Therapist and Play Therapist.  Her experience in mental health includes residential and outpatient mental health treatment, play therapy, eating disorder treatment programs and issues dealing with diabetes.

Tasha Wiele, LISW

Tasha attended Coe College and the University of Northern Iowa, receiving a BA in Psychology and Sociology and her MSW. Tasha has extensive experience working with teens and treats children struggling with ADHD issues.

Kathleen Wild, ARNP

Kathleen Wild provides outpatient psychiatric services to young children and adolescents with mental health and behavioral issues including ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Asperger Syndrome and Learning Disabilities. Kathleen received her BS and MS from the University of Iowa and is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
