Personal Statement: I find value in working with youth and their families and supporting them as they work towards reaching their goals. I believe that everyone possesses traits that make them unique, valuable, important and wonderful individuals. It is my goal to assist others in recognizing and celebrating those aspects in themselves. I believe that everyone deserves to be seen as the unique and wonderful person they are while having supports to understand, believe in and be with them as they navigate life’s struggles. I hope to provide a space for youth to be themselves and feel comfortable as they grow towards their goals.
Fun Facts about You: I enjoy the outdoors- hiking, kayaking, and just enjoying nature. I play ultimate frisbee and like to be active. I also love relaxing in a hammock or watching movies cuddled up on the couch. My background prior to Tanager Place was focused on foster care and adoption and I continue to have a passion in this area.
Why did you choose Tanager Place? I am enthused to be a part of the school based therapy team and be able to work with youth while also impacting their school environment. Tanager Place has been welcoming and I enjoy being a part of the school based family!
