Personal Statement: Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world
Fun Facts about You: I love to read and write in my spare time, and I’m active in community theater. I’m currently working on integrating more ideas from drama into therapy. I have never visited another country, but if I get the opportunity I’d love to travel to Mexico or anywhere that is sunny!
Why did you choose Tanager Place? I want to be a part of building a stronger community and helping the young people in this community truly experience opportunities to reach their full potential. Tanager Place’s mission and core values are very much in line with service to the community.
Therapeutic Style: Collaborative approach with emphasis on empowerment and strengths. I use a mixture of techniques from evidence-based practices, including CPS, CBT, DBT and solution-focused. I am comfortable conducting family and group sessions, and have experience in crisis management. I am comfortable using a variety of expressive art techniques and love being creative in my approach.
