Personal Statement: I have always had the innate ability to be the person that others came to when they were stuck or needed a safe person to talk to. We all have struggles in life and I truly believe that everyone has the ability to live a happy and fulfilling life. I find it encouraging when children, adults and families are able to have the strength and courage to attend therapy and be vulnerable. It is extremely humbling when they are able to identify that they need assistance and choose me to be that person. I highly value offering a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental environment for individuals to begin making the changes and progress they are hoping for. By making these changes, our clients have the ability to live the life they want and do so successfully. My main goal during any role I play in life is to make those I come into contact with feel special, important, and wanted. I approach the therapeutic process with this attitude and I strive to utilize my connection with clients to create change they are wanting. I assist clients in being able to identify their natural strengths and gain insight to how these changes can be made.
