Personal Statement: My passion is to help children express their thoughts and feelings through play and art. I strive to create a calm, safe, and compassionate space for children to process and heal through trauma. I enjoy working with children of all ages and their families, while working collaboratively with the family to help them meet their needs and goals. Areas of focus include: art therapy interventions, abuse and trauma, as well as the development of self-esteem and identity. I feel everyone has the ability to change, heal, and grow as an individual. It is my hope that clients leave each session with a sense of empowerment to facilitate change within their lives.
Fun Facts about You: Summer is my favorite time of the year and when I am not in the office you will find me on the golf course or planting flowers in my garden.
Why did you choose Tanager Place? I have been in the Tanager Place family since 2012, starting in PMIC where I found my passion in helping children and families. I have continued to grow within the agency through their support as I have advanced within my educational and career goals.
