In this workshop, participants will spend time learning about the impact that high conflict family dynamics have on children and families served, and how play therapy can be used to address these needs. Participants will learn best practice strategies to ensure they are protecting themselves legally and ethically, while still providing quality care to their clients. Participants will engage in hands on learning to practice play therapy interventions and strategies to utilize in session with clients.

- Participants will increase their understanding of best practice for play therapists in high family conflict cases while avoiding legal and ethical problems including therapist’s roles, responsibilities, and boundaries.
