In this workshop, participants will learn about the “window of tolerance” and how this relates to an individual’s ability to function effectively within the context of play therapy. Participants will have the opportunity to explore:
- Using play therapy techniques to explore and assess an individual’s window of tolerance and what situations or triggers may contribute to them becoming dysregulated in play therapy.
- How to incorporate various play therapy interventions to help clients regulate and get back into their window of tolerance.
- How to utilize play therapy techniques in order to maintain an optimal window of tolerance and build resiliency skills.
