Tanager is proud to present Imagination Square, a free summer event designed for families to come together for a day of creativity, exploration, and fun. Held in partnership with the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival, this exciting event is part of the Festival’s Patriotic Fest and will take place at a new location for 2025—NewBo City Market.

This year’s Imagination Square will feature an exciting lineup of activities, including inflatable bouncy houses, a LEGO build experience, hands-on arts and crafts, STEM exploration, trackless train rides, and live music. Families can also enjoy face painting, balloon artists, a free book giveaway, and swag bags (while supplies last). A variety of local food trucks will be on-site offering delicious options for purchase.

In addition to the activities, families will receive free food giveaways, including fresh produce provided by Iowa Total Care and cereal generously donated by General Mills, adding a nourishing touch to the festivities.
