Understanding Stress to Support Your Strength

Stress is part of being human — but left unaddressed, it can affect every area of our lives. During Mental Health Month, we’re creating space to pause, reflect, and build tools for resilience. Because when we understand how stress works, we’re better equipped to move through it with intention and care.

As part of our Resilient You Series, we invite you to our second free event focused on learning how to identify, understand, and manage stress — not by pushing it down, but by navigating it with awareness.

This session is designed for all community members — caregivers, professionals, students, parents, or anyone who’s feeling the weight of stress in their day-to-day life. It offers simple, science-informed strategies for understanding how stress affects your body and brain, and what you can do to support yourself and others.

We’ll explore:

• What stress is and why it shows up the way it does
• The impact of stress on your brain, body, and emotions
• Ways to notice your unique stress patterns
• Practical tools to reset your nervous system and respond with care

You can complete the guide on your own or bring it into conversations with your family, team, or support network.

Let’s Build Resilience Together

You don’t have to eliminate stress to feel better. You just need tools to recognize it, understand it, and move through it with more clarity and support. This May, we invite you to:

• Give yourself permission to slow down
• Learn more about how your body communicates with you
• Build a simple plan that helps you stay grounded in moments of overwhelm
• Join us for a free session that brings these ideas to life
